Dr Paddy Ekkekakis

 Professor Ekkekakis’ research examines affective responses to exercise. His findings are cited as the basis of guidelines by the American College of Sports Medicine and his publications receive more than 600 citations from other investigators each year. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. He has presented keynote lectures, seminars, and workshops in 30 cities in 15 countries around the world.

 Professor Ekkekakis is the author of The Measurement of Affect, Mood, and Emotion (published by Cambridge University Press in 2013), the editor-in-chief of the Handbook of Physical Activity and Mental Health (published by Routledge in 2013), and co-editor of the Psychobiology of Physical Activity (published by Human Kinetics in 2006). He also serves on the editorial board of several journals in the field of exercise psychology, including (1) the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology; (2) Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, and (3) Mental Health and Physical Activity.

Professor Penny Cavenagh

Penny is a Chartered Psychologist, qualified Executive Coach (The Performance Coach) and Mediator (London School of Mediation). The unique combination of these skills enable her to work with clients in a holistic way embracing all aspects of their lives, and mindful of how their personal jigsaw fits together. Through challenge and empathy she helps clients to find practical solutions to workplace and personal issues. She builds resilience and facilitates the development and strengthening of team and leadership skills. In her own professional life Penny has built, developed and maintained successful teams through authentic leadership.

 Penny prefers to work on a one to one basis where she can focus entirely on her client, but may work with other Coaches in group and team settings particularly in terms of facilitation. The majority of her clients have been in the NHS and Higher Education Sector. This fits with her own experience as a Non- Executive Director in the NHS and as a Senior Academic and Executive Director in Higher Education. Penny’s first degree was in Psychology from Bristol University and she also has a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology and a PhD from Birkbeck College University of London. She is also a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and Counselling formed a large part of her specialist work. Penny became a Professor of Health Research and Enterprise in 2013 and Dean of Academic Affairs, an Executive Director role and member of the Board at the University of Suffolk in 2014. Latterly she was Pro – Vice – Chancellor of the Faculty of Health, Science, and Technology.

 Her career has enabled a real understanding of organisations and business at all levels – the politics, the pressures, fulfilling career ambitions and working with a wide variety of colleagues. Having raised 3 sons and worked full time throughout she appreciates the stresses of achieving a rewarding life style balance.

 

Dr Manos Georgiadis

  Dr Manos Georgiadis is an expert in Sport/Exercise and Performance Psychology for more than twenty years. He has been supporting wellbeing, healthy lifestyles and human performance through individualised programs and interventions.

With the aim to create the best conditions to enhance personal skills and human potential Manos has been supporting companies keen to create  ideal working conditions for their employees. He has designed and implemented programs to support quality of life for individuals with special physical and mental needs presenting the applications of his work in European and World Congresses.

He has been the Sport Psychologist of athletes competing for the Greek Olympic Team at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and more recently he is supporting the mental skills and performance of world-class athletes in UK. Manos’s expertise in consultancy crosses boundaries supporting personal challenges both for teams and individuals where performance matters.

Manos believes that best results come from a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Prolonging achievements occur through knowledge of own needs. Respecting personal needs is the key of human potential.

Mrs Barbara Asimakopoulou

 Mrs Asimakopoulou is one of the most creative and inspiring life and business coach with international reputation and a remarkable career as entrepreneur, senior executive and masterful HR consultant for more than 20 years. Barbara have supported a great number of insightful people to achieve their milestones and expand their horizons and teams to be energised and increase their performance and satisfaction. She is known for her work in helping to create a positive work life balance and well-being (eudemonia). She uses her unique training “bank” and tools, to coach people in a strength (virtues) based approach. Words of wisdom of Greek philosophy and Positive Psychology inspired her to introduce and conduct this resourceful “Philosophy & Coaching in Practice” ™ methodology.
Barbara is an Associate Trainer of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and author of the “Coaching Leadership in the footsteps of Socrates”. This pioneering program introduces, for the first time, the “Coach Leader” who aims to create an ethical and sustainable global society”. Moreover, she has created and leads the training program for professional coaches “Coaching Skills & Tools in Practice” that has been accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as ACSTH.
She is certified by the Marshall Goldsmith (#1 Leadership Thinker according to Harvard Business Review) in Leadership Coaching, by the City University in Positive Psychology, by Dave Drake in Narrative Coaching and by the Coach University (Coach U). The International Coach Federation (ICF) has approved her as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Moreover she holds a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor in Chemistry.
She cooperated with some of the most prestigious companies and organisations such as Beiersdorf, Janssen Cilag, Kone SA, Abbott, The Acropolis Museum, Generation Y, Intracom Defense Electronics, Titan Cement Company, Bluegr Hotels and Resorts, Vodafon, Bayer, Sephora.
